So I started getting Mastodon set up as a replacement to twitter
…and it occurred to me. I never even liked twitter in the first place; twitter was just the de facto place. Everyone gravitated there after they stopped blogging and abandoned IRC. But twitter sucked in 2008, and hasn’t gotten any better. So why would I be looking to replace it?
If I’m going to post random stuff that receives next to no engagement in some dusty corner of the internet, why not migrate to one that I enjoy using? Hi again, tumblr.

Add Japanther to the list of live shows I missed while being all wrapped up in the act of being a “responsible adult” which in retrospect was a truly truly mistaken way to spend my 20s (also my 30s and 40s for that matter).
